Exactly how to Increase Money Flow Without Borrowing -Cash Money flow is one of the main reasons businesses fail.

At one time or another, every business, even effective ones, have experienced poor money flow.

Cash flow does not have to be an issue any ever more. Do not be fooled -- banks are not the only locations you can get financing. Other solutions are available and you do not have to borrow. Exactly what is trucking factoring ? One solution is called trucking factoring. Trucking Factoring is the procedure of selling invoices to a financier rather than waiting to collect the cash from the client. Oh, the Irony- Truck factoring has an ironic distinction: It is the monetary foundation of numerous of America's most successful companies. Why is this paradoxical ? Since truck factoring is not taught in business colleges, is rarely discussed in business strategies and is fairly unknown to bulk of most of American business people.

Yet it is a monetary procedure that frees billions of dollars every year, allowing countless businesses to grow and succeed. Receivable Financing has actually been around for thousands of years. Commercial Factoring Businesses are financiers who pay cash for the right to receive the future payments on your invoices. An unpaid receivable or invoice has value. It is a financial obligation your client has actually to pay in the near future. Factoring Principals--Although factoring deals exclusively with business-to-business deals, a large percentage of the retail company utilizes a factoring principal. MasterCard, Visa, and American Express all utilize a type of factoring in their retail deals. Utilizing the purest meaning of the word, these big customer finance companies are truly simply large Receivable Loan Financing Companies of consumer paper. Consider it: You purchase at Sears and charge it to your MasterCard. The store gets paid almost immediately, even though you do not make payment up until you are prepared.

For this service, the charge card company charges XYZ Store a fee (typical common normal fees range from 2 to four percent of the sale). The Benefits Commercial Factoring can provide numerous advantages to cash-hungry companies. Instead of waiting 30, 60, 90 days or longer for payment on a product that has currently been delivered, a business can factor (sell) its receivables for cash at a little price cut off the amount of the invoice. Payroll, marketing efforts, and working capital are simply a few of the company requirements that can be met with instant  cash.

Invoice Factoring provides the ways for a manufacturer to renew inventory and make even more items to sell: There is no longer a requirement to wait for earlier sales to be paid. Receivable Loan Financing is not simply a cash management device for manufacturers: Almost any kind company can benefit from FACTORING. Generally, a business that extends credit will have 10 to 20 percent of its annual sales bound in accounts receivable at any given time. Think for a minute about exactly how much is tied up in 60 days' worth of invoices: You can not pay the power expense or today s payroll with a customer s invoice, but you can sell that invoice for the cash to meet those obligations. Using truck factoring companies is a fast and easy process. The factoring company purchases the invoice at a discount, typically a few percentage points less than the face value of the invoice.

South Carolina's manufacturing industries have historically depended on the state's agricultural products as well as on water power. For example, the huge textile and clothing industries, centered in the Piedmont, are based on that region's cotton crop; lumbering and related enterprises (such as the manufacture of pulp and paper) rely on the c.12.5 million acres (5 million hectares) of forestland that cover the statethe longleaf and loblolly pine are prevalent. Other leading manufactures are chemicals, machinery, and automobiles. South Carolina's mineral resources have been of minor importance in the state's economy; except for some gold, most are nonmetalliccement, stone, clays, and sand and gravel. In agriculture, tobacco and soybeans now rival cotton as South Carolina's chief crops. Broiler chickens and cattle are economically important, and peanuts, pecans, sweet potatoes, and peaches are grown in abundance. Fishing is a major commercial enterprise; the chief catches are blue crabs and shrimp. Military bases and nuclear facilities are important to the economy, and the tourist industry today ranks as the state's chief source of income.

Woods Truck & Haul have been operating their business since the mid 1980s. For more than twenty years they've been delivering goods for most major industries in the nation, with business booming as they traversed the country, in all kinds of weather, for all kinds of clients. During the heady times from 2002 to 2007, Woods was a top rated accounts receivable mastermind of the trucking industry. Very few customers were behind on their bills, and those customers who were late turned in their overdue payments within an acceptable time frame. The money was flowing, and times were great. It was just one year later, in 2008, when the economy in the United States took a sharp decline, and both large and small businesses started to notice the squeeze on their pocketbooks: everyone had suddenly gone silent. Business slowed down. Worse still, it was noticed by Woods in early 2008 that even though most of their loyal customers were on time with their payments, there were a few late bloomers who were starting to spread the disease. And as spring turmed to summer and summer into the early days of fall, Leonard Ross, CEO of Woods felt a chill go down his spine whenever he would look at the weekly A/R reports. The number of clients who were late in their payments was continuing to grow.He had already been to the administrators to ask what the actual problem was. Were they doing something wrong or different when it came to reaching out to delinquent accounts? By his bookkeepers records, this wasn't the case. Perhaps he was losing his customers to his competitor, who seemed to offer very low prices with no guarantee of quality or performance, and these clients who were in debt to his company had possibly disappeared leaving him stranded. Perhaps they were unable to pay their debt to him, but were able to meet the costs of a lesser service. So he did the necessary research and, after discussions with friends in the same field, he realised that no, his customers hadn't gone anywhere else. They had just gone home.To Leonard Ross the situation looked desperate. He had employees to pay, goods to ship, trucks to maintain and overhead that was almost unbearable when compared against the lack of funds that were coming in. In the evenings he would discuss his concerns with his wife, Florence, and still find no relief from the worry and frustration.

""Lin, I have a really bad feeling,"" he would say with deep woe.""Well, what do you think it is?"" she would ask.Leonard would stare off for a moment and then close eyes. In his mind he could clearly see the fleet of trucks purchased over the many years. He could see them traveling, bringing goods to all of his clients. But somewhere, a haze would form over his fleet and the vast number of vehicles would disappear to but a few. Why couldnt he work out how to resolve this financial problem with his business?""I know what it is,"" said Leonard. ""I've relied too long on the profits I receive from invoices alone. For too long I've been allowing our clients to let their accounts become overdue."" Linda could only grab her husband's hand and look at him lovingly, ""it is a hard economy. It might be awhile until things get settled up.

""Florence was trying so hard to support her husband in these worrying times, while Leonard was weighed down with the worry of how he was going to handle this situation he found himself in.The following day Leonard walked into his office with a spring in his step, determined to call each and every client who owed money to Woods Truck & Haul. Now, it wasn't the most efficient way to spend a day as a chief executive, what he really needed to be doing was to be overseeing all of the other intricacies of shipment and delivery and reaching out to prospective clients or retraining his sales team to do the same. But, he felt like he was doing something proactive to help his business, even though he had staff on salary to do just that thing. A waste of time - a waste of money - he had the best intentions, but all the while Leonard was realising just how much trouble he was in.After a half day of contacting debtors in vain - they dodged his calls or promised to call back at worst or made minimal interest-only payments at best - he was about to throw in the towel when his secretary Esthererley knocked at his door.

""Can I have a word with you Leonard?"" she queried, standing in the doorway.

""Sure thing Esther, come on in."" Leonard relaxed back into his chair and looked up at Esthererley.""Well, I did a little searching this afternoon and tried to figure out a way out of this mess Leonard."" She pulled a small stack of papers from a folder and set them on the desk before him.""Have you ever heard of factoring?"" she asked.""It sounds vaguely familiar. What is factoring""? he asked.""Well,"" she began, ""Its actually quite simple really.

So basically, factoring invoices would enable us to get paid on the nose for loads that we haul.""Immediately?"" Leonard interrupted.""Yes, immediately,"" she continued, ""In a nutshell, it is pretty easy. We can have an expert account manager review our numbers and help us complete a company profile. That profile will also include investigating our accounts receivable aging reports, our existing customer credit limits and so on. Additionally, the factoring will help to determine the creditworthiness of our customers independent of their credit history with our business. Its a broad view.""I see, Leonard said. And then what?""Well, after their review, and were approved for a factoring contract, we can negotiate terms and conditions. You'll be surprised at the amount of flexibility, all dependent upon the credit histories and business volume.

The company will advise us the cost to purchase factoring for our company's accounts receivable. The funding commences once weve arrived at an agreement.Leonard was still a little concerned. He leaned forward in his chair and studied the paperwork very closely.""It sounds too good to be true, Esther,"" he said.""Now, now, I know, I thought the same thing. But think about it, Leonard: they've guaranteed that experts will do all the paperwork, and that will free us up to do what we should be doing - focusing on our customers in good standing, and that kind of stuff. They appear to be very flexible, Leonard,"" she drew a circle around a paragraph on the document before him.""How flexible?"" he asked.""It seems that they personalize their factoring charges so that the amount they're prepared to work with is commensurate with our client's debt and our needs. It only takes 2 to 4 days for this to be figured out. ""That sounds pretty good, seeing as we tapped ourselves out with bank loans last year to repair the fleet and money sure is tight. We need to keep business rolling as normal and every day were going unpaid, were closer to facing some serious problems in both the short and long term,"" said Leonard.Leonard took in a long slow breath, then looked at his secretary with something like hope in his eyes.""Precisely. I think this might just be a way out of the trouble we are in with these folks who owe us money.""Leonard thought about this and agreed with Esthererley. The clients who owed them money were long standing friends and professional resources of Woods. Leonard wasn't prepared to lose these relationships just because they were having financial issues at the moment. Leonard knew only too well that the whole economy was floundering, and that it was not going to change overnight. That unknown amount of time, if he handled these debtors incorrectly, could spell disaster for both of them. Of course he did not want to lose any more money, but he did not want to lose business either.""Well, let me think about this tonight Esther, thank you."" Esther nodded, satisfied with her work, and she left the office feeling quite content in the knowledge that she had helped Leonard keep the shirt on his back, and possibly hers too.Leonard sat behind his desk and looked over the details Esther had not mentioned in their meeting. He wondered if there might be other problems freight factoring could help Woods Truck & Haul with? With his pencil gliding down the sheet he noticed that the factoring company could help fray the cost of fuel with fuel discount cards and fuel advances. In fact, Woods could receive up to fifty-percent cash advances upon load pick-ups. As a man who hated binding contracts with no room to breathe, he was pleased to see that this factoring company would not make him sign a long term contract, would not make him pay any sign up fees and there was no minimum volume required.""Well, I'll have to tell Harry about this,"" Leonard muttered to himself.Leonard's son-in-law, Harry, loved the idea behind Woods and highly respected his father-in-law for having such great business sense, that two years ago he got his capital together and started his own transportation company. At that time Leonard knew the struggles Harry would face, but he still encouraged him to follow his dream. With the economy the way it was, if an established company such as Woods was struggling then the little guys, like Harry, were going to be in even more trouble. But, maybe the answer for both of them was in freight factoring, and Leonard was going to find out very soon. Some months later, having successfully gone through the entire process of the application, having experts study his credit history and statements and review his accounts receivable, Leonard found that he was starting his journey out of the despair which had been created for him by his delinquent account holders. They adopted reasonable factoring purchase contracts and stopped wasting their own precious time trying to collect debts. They used that time to refocus their efforts in being competitive in new territories. Leonard recalled those dismal months when he wasn't aware of freight factoring, and he shuddered at those memories. If Leonard hadn't discovered freight factoring at just the right time, his business may not be operating today.

Wallace Trucking Company had reached a turning point and he now had to make a decision as to whether he should sign up with a factoring company, and indeed if this would be a good or regrettable decision for his business.

Stanleys father had started as an owner-operator and had grown Wallace Trucking Company into a fifteen trailer fleet over forty years. Yes, they had survived some very difficult times when it appeared like they might go under, and even Stanley's mother had jumped into the cab at times to make hauls. His father had worked long enough to see the price of hires drop dramatically during the recession and to see the explosion of fuel prices afterwards. Now the company was solely in Stanleys hands and he wanted to live to see it in better shape for his sons.

There just never seemed to be enough money to go around, and certainly no spare cash, but to move his company successfully into the future he needed a steady and reliable cash flow. He had employees to pay. They all have families and the usual household bills. Some of the refrigerated trailers were in need of repairs and he felt to stay competitive it was also a good idea to invest in specialized haulers to be ready for the constant requests he was getting for loads of new energy and agriculture equipment. Every time he had to turn down a request, Wallace Trucking looked weak in a very strong market.

His father would have told him to wait and to take his time adding on new technology. Stanley chuckled, thinking about his father. His father had been against placing GPS units in the cabs. His Dad would say ""Why on earth do you need some stranger telling you to get off the exit that everyone knows has been there for years? He smiled to himself as he remembered his father poking fun at the other drivers who switched to automatic, even though automatic was quite obviously more efficient (though less manly). He knew his father's days were long gone and new technology was very important for the business, like having Qualcomm to reduce communication time for bills of lading.

Stanley believed a successful man is always thinking of his next step. How would he take Wallace Trucking to the next level? And how would he be able to afford it? Business funding was tied up in fuel bills and the mortgage for the garage and office. He just finished paying off the small bank loan for installing satellite radio in the trucks for the guys.

He wondered about factoring - was this the answer for him? There was a lot he didnt understand about the process. It sounded a lot like ninth grade algebra which just didnt feel like it belonged as part of the trucking business. A factoring company actually purchases your invoices and takes control of your accounts receivable, payment being a certain percentage of the amount invoiced. In return, the factoring company pays the trucking business straight away, providing immediate cash flow for the business to pay staff, purchase fuel, and do any repairs or maintenance. Without this assistance, you're placed in the position of waiting for payment from your customers, and this can often be thirty days, or more. During those thirty days the trucking company cannot pay its employees and bills with invoices.

Stanley had to really consider what his next step was going to be. Stanley had heard that there were companies that charged for same day money transfers and would only advance a percentage of the money owed to your company while holding the rest in a private account if they didnt get their bill payment within 60 or so days. Worse still, if the customer defaulted on payment, the factoring company takes it out of the money supposedly coming to you! Through the grapevine, hed also heard about how some companies suddenly slipped you onto a sliding scale of percentages even if you had already signed a lengthy contract for maybe 3% or 7% so there you are with 10% coming as a cost to you out of the freight bill. His colleague, Ronnie, who owned a trucking company in Missouri, was nearly destroyed by a factoring company who charged him the full freight bill on top of the fees for factoring. He knew he would have to be very careful if he was to avoid any of these shady companies?

But it turned out to be quite easy. All the factoring companies he researched were open about their business practices and very friendly on the phone when he called. Their customer service actually knew things about their company and spoke in nice clear English so he could understand what was being explained. He was quite happy to sign an exclusive contract. In fact, he was quite pleased with the idea of a long-term contract because he knew this was a one-off and he would not have to keep going back and forth to different companies. He was not charged for a credit check, and in addition he was offered a fuel advance on the pick-up of a load. In fact there were a few companies who offered him a non-recourse factoring program, and this was exactly what he had been hoping for. He was more than happy with the figures he was offered in percentage terms on the freight bills. It sounded like a great scheme to him.

It was really refreshing dealing with the factoring people. They were extremely helpful and more personable than the bank staff. He was relieved to note that the factoring companies understood the trucking business and discussed business with him like a respected client, not like someone looking for a handout. The factoring companies didnt worry over his credit and the debt troubles his father had had in the past of the company. All the factoring company was interest in was the credit of his customers and on their reliability: this worked great for Stanley because he and his father had created a very strong and loyal list of clientele over the years. So he knew they would understand when the factoring company contacted them for the invoices. His clients would not have any problems, nor would they think poorly of Wallace Trucking, because the factoring companies handle themselves in such a polite and professional manner, similar to the way his father had managed the business in the past.

Feeling happier now, Stanley stepped out of his office to advise his secretary to expect to receive the contract very shortly from the factoring company. He felt exhilarated by the new possibilities that would make the future of the company fun again and put the stress of the difficult times behind him. He suddenly realized that, with this new cash flow, he could actually expand Wallace Trucking Company and who knows, move into Canada, which had always been his dream. He was a happy man again knowing that he had just made a decision which would guarantee the success of his business and his sons would not be inheriting a financial mess.

So It is not a loan? asked Ray Davis, reclining back into his chair and crossing his legs. The woman sitting across the desk from Ray smiled at him, shaking her head. No, not exactly, she said.Ray Davis owned a small trucking company, and his business had recently fallen on difficult times. Certainly the trucking business can be an extremely profitable venture, and for many years it had been that way for Darryl. He named his business Castro Trucking, named after Kyle and Enrique, his two grandfathers. Both of these men had been very hardworking and had set a great example for Darryl.Disaster had struck half a year ago, when two trucks in Darryls fifteen truck fleet went down. One was a roll-over and ended up in the trucking graveyard: the other was involved in a serious and costly accident. The financial security of Darryl's company relied on his full fleet on fifteen being on the road, and missing two trucks was just devastating . In addition, he just did not have the available cash to buy a new truck, plus repair the other one.A big problem a lot of trucking companies came across was how bills were paid in the industry. Waiting a month or longer for bills to be paid was quite normal. In the long run, this wasnt an issue, but if problems arose, you could find yourself in trouble.Ray was an excellent business man, and he certainly hadn't done anything wrong. Certain events had occurred that he could not possibly have predicted, and now he had to find a way to protect his business and prevent it from ultimate devastation. And that's why he found himself across the desk from this woman. Ray knew she was employed by a Factoring company and that her name was Connie. He had accidentally come across her company one night when he was working late, searching the internet to see if there was some solution to his financial dilemma. She sat there now, and explained. Its not a loan, we purchase your accounts receivable. we are not giving you finance to be repaid later: we are purchasing something from you, and when you can you can buy it back. This is a win-win situation: we are protected from a total loss, and you're protected from the ridiculous fees and charges you'd have to pay if you borrowed from a bank.Ray nodded. It sounded perfect - perhaps too good?.Connie laughed. I'm not sure that you believe me, she chuckled.Oh no, I do: it just sounds too good to be true. I actually thought I might end up losing my business.Connie nodded. Yes, we get a lot of that. There's no way we want to see you lose your business. You work hard, youve put everything you can into it. Sometimes you need help. That's why we do what we do.""In any case, thank you for coming to see me.""Its right down the road, usually we do it all online, but I didnt mind swinging on by today, said Connie with a smile. Let's work out a solution to your problem. And right there and then they created a business profile. Ray completed the form, with Connie offering advice as needed.

The completed profile gave Connie and her company all the information they needed on Darryl's business, and with this information they would determine if this business would in fact be suitable for Factoring. Unfortunately, not all companies are. Some were beyond factoring special brand of help, and sometimes things werent even dire enough for it. As Ray completed his form, Connie listened to his story and she felt quite sure he would be the ideal candidate for Factoring.Connie took the completed form and placed it in her briefcase. She then stood, reached across the desk and shook Darryls hand. He stood before they shook as well, and then smiled. Ray walked Connie to the door where they said 'Goodbye', then he went back into his office. His employees were there, seven who worked in the office, and as he sat behind his desk once more he heard the familiar clack of fingers on keyboards, the electronic whine of the copy machine. He leaned back and closed his eyes. He felt so drained: he had been flailing helplessly for so long, he just knew his business was going to collapse and probably take him with it. Talking to Connie though, learning about factoring, it felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He relaxed into his chair, running his hand through his thick black hair with its telling streaks of grey. The long nights, where he couldnt sleep. The sudden panic attacks, not matter where he was. He could feel it all fading away. He wasnt out of the woods yet, there was still a lot of work to be done, but he could feel it. He was there, he was on the right path, and he was working to make things right. His mind wandered back to the very beginning, when he first started his business. At twenty-two and straight out of school he had opened a restaurant. It had been really successful. Offering home cooking in his own hometown, his business had really prospered. But it wasn't what he really wanted to do. He wasn't passionate about the food industry. He thought about it for a long time, then decided it was time to sell his restaurant. He took half a year off, and in that time he thought to start Castro Trucking. So he did it. Once again he built a company from the ground up. He had been successful. And then the trucks went down, and his success looked to be in flux. He was nearing fifty. He didnt think he had it in him, to save this company. But giving up wasn't part of his personality either.

The idea of cutting his losses, shutting down, laying off his workers, it actually made him sick some nights. He did not want to quit - both for himself and for his staff members. And now it seemed as though he would not have to - all because of Factoring. Ray opened his eyes, sat forward, turned his computer on. He had things to do. There would be plenty of time later to be thankful, but for now it was time to get back to work.

Reasons why Truck Companies Work with Factoring Firms.

As the operator of your own establishment, you may perhaps be much more than perceptive already of the hardship in making sure that capital issues do not become a predicament down the line. After all, the worst thing that can quite possibly come about for your business is to find yourself dragged in a long and difficult circumstance that leaves you forever trying to find the money you need to have on an ongoing basis.

For any sort of enterprise in this situation, the issue can come for waiting for work to clear up and actually be provided into your account. Invoices, checks, and the like could take a long time to actually to beprocessed which can certainly leave you with temporary available resources difficulties. Fortunately, there are options out there for companies to check out-- and among these is factoring agencies.

Factoring firms will, in trade for your accounts, provide you with the cash today to ensure you do not have to stress over the waiting period that could make paying the expenses and purchasing materialsmore hard. With this kind of setup, invoice factoring can end up being extremely practical for lots of companies who have to get out of a money pitfall which they have gotten themselves in.

Given that, depending on the scale of the project, it can take up to 60 days for a number of companies to get paid out then it is essential to cover up your own back and not leave yourself money short to settle the monthly bills. After all, how many companies possess two months profits just lying there to handle all their costs until they get paid?

This is specifically true of truck establishments. They often tend to handle great deals of accounts which means a huge amount of collection time involves company owner themselves. Striving to get compensated in time can eventually become an amazing hassle and this is why you use trucking factoring organizations who are delighted to help out truckers exclusively.

As most of us recognize, trucking is an surprisingly big field with lots of companies out there working with hundreds of drivers. However, several of these drivers wind up in income predicaments considering that they are still waiting on work from six weeks in the past to actually pay them. When this is the situation for a trucking business, turning to factoring companies for assistance may be the most recommended option left.

This implies that a truck organization can pay the salaries of the staff, keep all the trucks loaded with gas and continue to escalate, evolve and expand without always waiting for the money which is taking too lengthy to come in. Trucking Enterprises functioning without a factoring program implemented are leaving themselves at considerable threat, as rivals cash out quickly and proceed to broaden.

There's honestly nothing at all to be distressed about when it comes to working with a Factoring agency-- they commonly are not like a bank or someone who is going to leave you with a big stack of debt to repay. You give them legitimate invoices from output you have already finalized , you are only just speeding up the payment process.

In the United states of America, where trucking firms prosper, factoring agencies are not considered taking on loan in any capacity. This private contract then makes it possible for both groups to profit and take joy in a good future-- it gives the factoring company a secured resource of money to include in the list and it provides the trucking business the needed funds that they worked hard to get.

The trucking company provides their invoices to the factoring agency. The trucking factoring firm then take the payments from the trucking company's clients. Factoring has beenaround for hundreds of years and has been employed for long times by several varied sectors-- but none more so than truckers. While you may miss out on a small part of the money, something like 1-3 % depending on who you team up with, it means that you are getting the resources today and can actually start setting the funds to work.

After all, an IOU or an invoice is absolutely not going to cover bills, is it? For trucking establishments when the resources can be good one day and gone the next, it is up to the drivers to work prudently and to ensure they are leaving themselves with a notable amount of time and money to get through the week till they are paid again.

So the next occasion your trucking establishment is bearing some momentary cash flow issues and you are spending excessive time chasing slow paying clients, why not begin thinking of making use of a factoring businesses as a method to get your finances and give yourself a more at ease future in the eyes of your trucking personnel and your bank difference?

Traditional Bank Loans

Bank loans are an extremely traditional way for a business to get financing. These loans can be a life-saver, but they're not always available to every business. As an example, a newly formed business may not have the required assets to qualify for a bank loan, and even if they did, it is usual practise for a bank to use the business itself as collateral. This means that if you default on your loan payment you could lose your entire business. Plus, the amount you apply for through the bank is the actual amount that you are going to receive. Once the loan is paid off, you can then apply for another loan if the need arises.

Trucking Factoring Companies

Trucking Factoring companies do not give loans, and the money you get from the Trucking Factoring company does not put you in debt. Rather the financing you receive from a Trucking Factoring company is based on money your business has already earned, but have not yet received. Trucking Factoring companies actually purchase your accounts receivable or at least part of them for a percentage of their total worth, Normally around 80%-95%. The amount of finance you can receive will be based on the amount you have earned and the accounts receivable you are prepared to sell. Once you have set up Trucking Factoring account it continues as long as you wish it too and the amount of money available to you even can grow as your business grows, giving you the ready cash you need to meet your own obligations.

What Are The Benefits Of A Trucking Factoring Company Versus A Traditional Bank Loan?

Not every business can benefit from Trucking Factoring account financing because you have to have a business with accounts receivable, however there are many benefits for those who can access this type of finance.

1. There is no debt. Since the Trucking Factoring company actually buys your accounts receivable you do not actually incur debt like you do with a bank loan. One of the main benefits of this kind of financing is that your business credit rating and your personal credit rating will not be affected. In the event that your business fails, you would not have to be concerned about someone coming after your personal or your business assets in order to pay off a loan. With a bank loan, the debt goes onto your credit report, and even one late payment can adversely affect your businesses credit, and even the ability to get insurance and may even reflect upon your personal credit rating.

2. No Collateral Required. Another benefit of using a Trucking Factoring company instead of a traditional loan is that you are not required to provide collateral to the Trucking Factoring company in order to secure financing, because the company buys the accounts receivables; not loans you money based on them. In addition, while the Trucking Factoring company does run a credit check on your customers whose accounts receivables are offered for financing, the state of your credit is not an issue. This makes it easier for fledgling businesses to get the financing they need through a Trucking Factoring company (as long as their accounts receivables are in good order) then from a bank, who may not feel that you have been in business long enough to be worth the risk of issuing you a loan.

3. Receive Your Money Faster. With a Trucking Factoring company you can actually get the money you need faster. Once the Trucking Factoring company assures itself that the customers in your accounts receivable are likely to pay their debt, the money is usually in the account within 24 hours. With a bank, there are vast amounts of paperwork, then the loan has to be underwritten, which can take months before you actually see the loan if it is approved.

4.You receive interest up-front. With a bank loan interest continues to build, and this has to be paid the whole time you have a business loan; however with a Trucking Factoring company there is no interest - they take it right off the top by deducting it from the total amount of receivable accounts. So you do not have to worry about monthly loan repayments, and you do not have to worry about the amount of interest payable, because all the money in the account is yours to spend.

As you can see from the above, there are some great benefits to financing through a Trucking Factoring company, and not through a traditional bank loan. In addition, there are other benefits that a Trucking Factoring company can offer you, outside the scope of a bank. The most important benefits is that once you sell your accounts receivable to the factory company, you do not have to take time away from running your business to collect the money owed from reluctant to pay customers. The Trucking Factoring company takes over that chore, since it is now their money to collect. Trucking Factoring companies are very good at collecting these debts, saving you the time and effort that you need to devote to your growing company.

In addition, since the Trucking Factoring company evaluates the credit quality of your customers prior to purchasing the accounts receivable you gain valuable information into which customers are likely to pay and which ones are not so likely to pay.A Trucking Factoring company is not the only method of gaining access to finance for the running and growing of your business, however it does offer a financing option well worth considering.
